About the Journal

Journal of Genes and Cells (ISSN: 2410-6887) launched in 2015 by iMAQ Publishing Corporation, a startup project by Pakistani-Iranian stem cell researchers of Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, Iran with the support of Pakistan Society for Genes and Cells Therapy (PSGCT) to discuss issues in gene and cell therapeutic research in developing world.

The Journal of Genes and Cells has been owned by iMAQPRESS Inc. Canada as the iMAQ Publishing Corporation, Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, Iran has been dissolved in December 2019. iMAQPRESS Inc. Canada based in Winnipeg, Manitoba is the current owner and co-publisher of Journal of Genes and Cells.

VarastehQazal Institute and CODE Interantional are official corporate contributors of Journal of Genes and Cells in Asian countries for lisencing, indexing and other official purposes.

Its first issue was published in January 2015 and is published Bi-annually (twiced a year). Journal of Genes and Cells is publishing two issues per year, 1st in July and 2nd in December of each year. Journal of Genes and Cells is indexed in almost all international indexing databases i.e. Index Copernicus International, Directory of international research journals, google scholar, SID, CiteFactor, Universal and global impact factor, ProQuest, CrossRef, JournalsTOCs etc.
